Dry Skin Brushing for beauty and health

Happy New Year everyone!

How are all those new year promises coming along?
I suggest making small, manageable changes little by little rather than drastic and overwhelming quick fixes that are hard to sustain. My blog is packied with those kind of small steps and today I wanted to share my favorite detox and beauty tip - dry skin brushing.

The skin is, as you know, your largest organ and also and important exit route for toxins! Try dry skin brushing and increase blood circulation, which helps you stay warm and healthy, support your lymph system and get rid of dead skin cells making your skin ble to breath and excrete better. It also makes it look radiant and healthy. Win win win!

Here’s how it works;
Get a bristle wood brush with a long handle [like the one in the photo.]
Stroke from your hands up your arms several times. Stroke from your feet up your legs using circular motions - always circle towards the heart. Use as much pressure as you feel comfortable with. Use several clockwise strokes on the stomach, both sides of the chest, and don’t forget your arm pits, under your feet and in your groin.

Why not try this every day before you shower for the next week and see what happens?
